Cheng Xuan Li

Cheng is a researcher, architectural designer, and environmental specialist. Cheng is a Ph.D. student at Environmental Systems Lab, Cornell AAP. Supervized by Prof. Dr. Timur Dogan, Cheng is focusing on improving the accuracy and the robustness of Urban Building Energy Models (UBEMs). Cheng's current research endeavor at the lab involves:

 

- Urban 3D modeling and digital twin

- Diversified building archetype and stochastic space use schedules

- Parameter calibration for surrogate R-C energy models

 

Cheng holds a B.A. (Hons) and M.Arch (AA Diploma) from Architectural Association, London. With knowledge and experience in building science, urban analysis, programming, and both architectural and urban design. This diverse skillset enables Cheng to approach complex environmental challenges with innovative and reliable solutions.
